Treefrog Veneer offers a complete selection of 35 real wood veneer laminates in
traditional and exotic straight grains, crowns, birdseyes and burls. It is ideal for
use in interior design, hospitality, retail, corporate, set design, entertainment
and furniture projects. The veneers are manufactured in Italy, a country long
heralded for
craftsmanship and, more recently, for environmental commitment, and distributed
throughout the United States under the Treefrog Veneer name. The veneers feature
composite wood technology, a process that is able to create the look and feel of
exotic tree species, without harvesting these oftentimes rare species.

Instead, Treefrog Veneer is produced through sustainable forestry, utilizing
SGS-certified plantation grown Italian Poplar, which guarantees it is an ecological
product, and West African Ayous, managed in a forestry plan to achieve the lowest
possible impact on the environment. The rights and welfare of local people are
respected as well.

Treefrog's facility in Easthampton, MA has instituted practices to minimize its
impact on the planet. Additionally, both manufacturing and administrative
departments strive to reduce, recycle & reuse materials on a daily basis.

1% For The Planet was launched in 2001 by Yvon Choinard, founder of Patagonia, Inc.,
a clothing manufacturer and retailer, and Craig Mathews, owner of Blue Ribbon Flies.
1% FTP is active in the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan.
